Human Design is a very fascinating system that opens the door to deep self-knowledge. It offers insight into our personality, our life purpose and purpose, shows us our strengths and helps us get into the flow of life 💫
But one of the key aspects to understand is CONDITIONING. The process by which we receive energies from the environment that influence how we manifest or make decisions - a process by which we move away from who we really are. And if we don't understand or respect this process, it can harm us.
If you've never heard of the experiment in which scientists put fleas in a jar, I think it's time to change that, because this very experiment can make it easier to understand what we're going to talk about today - it's a demonstration of how organisms can "adjust" to limit their behavior and activity, even if there is no physical barrier preventing them from doing so. The experiment involves placing several fleas in a jar with a lid. The fleas instinctively jump up to escape, but soon hit the lid and fall back down. After a while, the fleas learn that jumping too high will only result in hitting the lid, so they start jumping only as high as necessary to avoid being hit. This continues even when the lid is removed and even when the jar is removed. Their descendants also follow the same pattern.
How long must it take for us to realize that life as we are used to may not be beneficial? Year? Five years? All life? What has to happen for us to realize that something has to change and that we can't continue as we have been? It is true that if we are used to living a certain way, we do not have to realize that we can live differently.
Conditioning is the way our mind and our energy field are affected by what is around us. Through the energies we receive every single second of our lives whether we like it or not. We can talk about conditioning through the culture we come from, through the upbringing we received from our parents, through societal expectations, or through energetic influences from the people we come into contact with. It's good to mention that conditioning doesn't always have to be negative - but if we start to run into problems in life, conditioning always plays a major role.
It is the layers of expectations that are placed on us from the moment we are born that have a huge impact on who we are. Each of us is born with our genetic imprint - which we can very easily understand from our Chart. But over time, we become a person who is no different from the other person - the charm of our uniqueness begins to disappear over time, because we do not understand how everything around us affects us. A homogeneous way of life is not healthy. It is true that we currently live in a world and society that unfortunately does not realize that we are all different - that each of us works differently, and that there is no one ⭐️ only right way ⭐️ to live life. I have to admit that from my point of view this topic is maybe a little more socially acceptable, but I don't think people openly talk about how much individuality and understanding one's own energy is essential to a happy life.
For example, if we are talking about a condition that we can all see around us on a daily basis, it could be for example:
If we "do well" in school and get good grades, we are a better student compared to someone who gets worse grades.
If we are an extroverted human being, we have the potential to exhibit better leadership skills and achieve greater success than someone who is perhaps more introverted, quiet and reserved.
Prioritizing your own well-being is automatically selfish.
A job in which one has to show knowledge (lawyer, doctor...) is more valuable than a job in which one uses other qualities (painter, artist, designer...).
If decisions do not have a logical basis, they are bad. ...
At its core, conditioning is a set-up by society that has decided that some things are important and others are not. That certain qualities are the basis of a happy life... that we all have the same trajectory and path in life... And there is nothing worse than when we start to identify with these things. When we start living someone else's life. I can't imagine anything worse than not being able to express my own authenticity.
Conditioning affects ⭐️ EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US ⭐️, no matter what kind of upbringing we had, what privileges we have, what kind of society we come from... But conditioning can be worked with very well. It is with the help of Human Design that we can get to the point where we are able to discern the layers of conditioning that we have accumulated over our lifetime. It is precisely this conditioning that keeps us in a state of false self - a state in which we become more and more distant from ourselves because we are unable to use our potentials, gifts and talents.
And yes, it can be scary - to find ourselves in a moment where we have no reference points around us, when we don't know if we can change things enough to get back to our Self. The change in which we go through the gradual removal of what we thought was right for us can sometimes mean that we have to go back to our childhood in which most of us accept so much conditioning... But at the end of this journey there is something indescribable - the realization that I can sit and observe my life, which, when aligned with who I am, offers a tremendous amount of love, joy, abundance and understanding...
Have you ever felt like you were living someone else's life? That your life does not correspond to your true nature? That you go against yourself and make decisions that are not in line with who you are? Human Design can help you understand the connections - thanks to HD we can reveal patterns of subconscious patterns of behavior that influence us. People who have gone through Human Design and the transformation that comes with it often talk about a profound change in the way they look at themselves and their lives.
And yes, not everyone is ready to give up the established life that brings with it a certain sense of security. Not everyone gets the opportunity to step into the unknown. But if you are ready to stand up for yourself and understand that each of us has a chance for mental freedom, the expression of authenticity and an individual approach to life, in which there are no rules and customs that people around us push us into, Human Design is the one the right way.
